The day also had it's share of costly, personal catastrophes too, however. We had one rocket land in the river, another land in a tree we could not retrieve it from, and more than one come in as a ballistic core sample. All very sad. However, "From the ashes of failure sprout the roses of success" (i.e. critical lessons learned) -- which is what NRVR is all about. Learning about the physics and nature of rocketry failures, and striving to learn more and become better.
