I think Jordan has built a couple too..

Hey.. you guys want to have a "DIY Rocket Electronics" meeting? I can bring my soldering station and give some soldering/desoldering lessons (used to do it professionally).

You guys can show some of your Egg circuits.. I have my cool little open source Arduino Altimeter. :)

  I'm
anxiously awaiting my new Eggtimer. Although I really want
to mess with an Eggtracker, my soldering skills are pretty
rusty, and even at my best, I'm not so good with SMT, so
I figured the Eggtimer would be a good starting
  point.

Not an endorsement or ad; I just saw
they were on sale and we were talking about them. It takes
3-4 hours to put each piece (receiver / transmitter)
together the first time, along with a decent soldering iron,
  a loupe, and some patience.
I'd show you mine, but I'm
in the middle of troubleshooting my receiver :-(
