Rocketman chutes are an unconventional shape though. This one is designed for about an 11mph decent of a 15lb rocket and 12mph decent of an 18lb rocket. Let me know if that works for you. I can't make it to the meeting tomorrow so I'd have to give it to you tomorrow afternoon. </div><div><br></div><div>-Steve Florig </div><div><br><div><br><br>Sent from my iPhone</div>On Apr 20, 2016, at 10:17 AM, Jordan Truesdell <<a href="mailto:jordan@truesdell.org">jordan@truesdell.org</a>> wrote:<br><br></div><blockquote type="cite"><div><div dir="ltr">I have a 7'-6" military flare/drop chute. We're getting ready for our competition this Saturday (therefore we cannot make the NRVR launch.) Our rocket is basically done sans some painting to be done Wednesday night. However, after running simulations based on our most updated model, we're worried we're descending too slowly on our 14 foot chute for our capsule, and would also like to save some weight after our rebuild. Our simulations show that an ideally 8 ft chute (or at most a 10 foot chute) would be ideal.<div><br></div><div>It's a bit last minute, but does anyone own an 8 ft to 10 ft chute we could borrow for competition weekend this Saturday?
