Simple closest to the target competition.<u class=""></u><u class=""></u></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-size:1rem"> 4” diameter and up must launch with a mini pumpkin. The mini pumpkin must recover with a parachute. Non-deployment or loss of chute is disqualified. Gourd does not need to deploy at apogee.<u class=""></u><u class=""></u></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-size:1rem"> Smaller diameter rockets must carry a Candy Corn pumpkin which must be recovered with a streamer.<u class=""></u><u class=""></u></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-size:1rem"> Smallest model rockets will carry a Candy Corn which must be recovered with a streamer.<u class=""></u><u class=""></u></p><p class="MsoNormal"><u class=""></u> <u class=""></u></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-size:1rem">Prizes are still TBD, but at a minimum will be a rocket or something cool. If you are interested in TARC competition you should be finishing up your rocket design and doing test flights to see how your simulations compare to actual altitudes. Many teams don’t launch before Thanksgiving and then hope to launch in January, February or March. Even in April the weather is unpredictable and your launch opportunities could be limited. If you need help getting started, let one of us know.
