<p style="margin:0px;padding:0px;font-family:arial;font-size:12pt">Also.. just to give you a heads up, once every couple of months or so you'll see someone put out a call for a "group motor order". Member Steven Florig often does this, but anyone might. We often order from one of the vendors listed on our <a href="http://nrvr.org/" target="_blank">front web page</a> (one of our current favorite HP motor vendors is <a href="https://csrocketry.com/rocket-motors.html" target="_blank">Chris Rocketry Supply</a>) . The reason for doing group orders is bc rocket motors, while nor explosive, are still treated as such by the Dept of Transportation, and so incur a $25 (or so) HAZMAT shipping fee. Pretty steep if you're just ordering $50-60 worth of motors.. So we'll often pool our purchases into a "group order" and save quite a bit of $$ in the process. So if you need to order some HP (or even medium pr model rocket motors).. feel free to put out a call to the mail list with a, "Hey! Anyone want to go in with me on a motor order?" At least 2-3 weeks before the next big launch.. and you'll often get a taker or two.</p>
