This is a reminder of our 4th Saturday
launch for July at Kentland Farms.  So far the summer flying season has
been sparsely attended but great launches none the less.  Due to our
limited budget we are not planning a port-a-potty so plan accordingly.  We
have some great plans starting to take shape for a spectacular September
launch and we will keep you posted as soon as we can publish the details.

For our regular fliers, this will be a Tripoli commercial launch with high
power waiver up to 6,000 feel AGL.  We will be set up near the VT UAV
airstrip. and launch from 10:00 to 6:00 on Saturday. Directions and launch

Please note:
 - there will not be bathroom facilities on site
 - there will not be a rocket motor vendor on site

We also want to welcome our newer members.  The article in the Roanoke
Times resulted in a flurry of new launch list subscribers.  Here is some
information that should be helpful for you:
 - anyone is welcome to come and fly with us with the following stipulations
   - you agree to follow our safety rules
   - you respect the property of the land owner
   - you respect your fellow fliers and spectators.
 - if you have a rocket to fly bring it out and fly it
    - we will inspect your rocket to make sure it is safe to fly
 - if you don't have a rocket to fly we will let you prep and fly one of
ours, you retrieve it

We promote a friendly, family oriented atmosphere.  Bring a chair and
something to drink along with your curiosity and questions.  Weather
permitting we will fly rockets from under an ounce up to 50 pounds or more
with the expected altitudes under about 5,000 feet.

Hope to get to meet some of our new subscribers and familiar faces again as
well.

Keep the pointy end up and the fiery end down.
