I am really looking forward to our first club meeting and launch of 2016.
Here are some of the details:

Meeting is Thursday March 24 from approximately 6:00 to 8:00 pm, at 1901
Innovation Drive Blacksburg, also known as the Space building. The outer
doors are on a timer but if you come and they are locked, call or text Bob
at 540-818-9829.

 - Bob will talk about how to choose the right motor for your first rocket
and/or certification launch.
 - Tweeks has several areas of interest he wants to cover including the
Jolly Logic chute release device, choosing a rocket for L1 and L2
certification.
 - Carlos will talk about his level 3 certification flight and hopefully
show ground and onboard videos of that launch in Bayboro, NC last month.

We also hope to hear about the progress of the VT Battle of the Rockets
team. We invite you to bring your rocket questions, new builds or just
come and watch and listen. I hope to show some cool rocket videos and talk
about upcoming launches.

Launch this Saturday at Kentland Farm 5250 Whitethorne Pike, Blacksburg.
We start setup at 9 and usually fly from 10 am to 6 pm, weather permitting.

Please note that:
 - we will not have a port-a-potty on site at this launch
 - we will not have a motor vendor or dealer at this launch
 - we are guests of Virginia Tech and ask everyone to respect the property
that they allow us to fly from
 - there is no launch fee, but donations are welcomed and very much
appreciated

The weather looks acceptable at this point and we hope to see many new and
old faces at this first launch. There will probably be a lot of new
rockets and at least one K motor flight and very possibly many more high
power flights.

Hope to see you at the meeting or launch!
