<p>Hey fellow Rocketeers!</p>
<p>It's been a while! I hope you all had a great Christmas and
Happy New Year.. and are staying safe in all this ice we've had
tonight. <br>
</p>
<p>First.. as a personal reminder.. everyone who wants to be able to
fly HP rockets SHOULD remember to go out and update your annual <a
href="https://www.tripoli.org/content.aspx?page_id=22&club_id=795696&module_id=699449">TRA
membership</a> and/or <a
href="https://www.nar.org/content.aspx?page_id=22&club_id=114127&module_id=667409">NAR
membership</a>(s). (Bob and I just did ours :)</p>
<p>Second.. As recently discussed on our <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/NRV.Rocketry/">fbook group</a>..
we have some updates to share about fields we've explored and
checked out in 2024.. discussions I've had with Tripoli and other
clubs, and have options to discuss for 2025 that we would like to
discuss with club members. It's not all doom and gloom through..
while 2024 was "a dry spell" for us.. I've found that we have more
friends in the media and space industry than I realized.. and it's
motivated us to take a step back, talk to others outside NRVR
about options, and seek some outside help in getting us a place to
fly rockets again. Good stuff. I'm just sorry that I have not
been able to share this with everyone before now (as there is some
politics involved).<br>
</p>
<p>For the good of the club, and to bring you all into the
discussion, we're planning to hold a club meeting on Thur Jan
23rd. More details to be shared as we get closer (see this mail
list and on our <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="http://nrvr.org/calendar/">events our calendar here</a>).
<br>
</p>
<p>In the mean time, I'm not asking everyone to re-up your NRVR
membership (i.e.g pay 2025 member dues).. but if you DO want to
support us in moving forward.. that's one way to demonstrate this,
as it would help keep us from financially dipping below our
minimum bank account balance (where they start bleeding us dry
with fees). If that is of interest to you, the NRVR membership
form <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="http://nrvr.org/join-nrv-rocketry/">is here</a>.</p>
