Come to find out.. The Museum folks were wanting us up in Roanoke on July 20th.. the day of our BFSL.. so that's a no go. I sent them more info.. let's see if they either join us.. or pick another date. :)

Back to topics for the March meeting.. I've asked the Rocketry at VT[ ]( mailto:Rocketry at VT ) guys and NRCC folks if they want to come have the floor for a few minutes.

I think the science museum will probably have a better representation of our target audience. I say reach out to them if you have a contact.

Thanks
Bob

Bob,
We may want to contact the Science Museum of Western Virginia in Roanoke. It's right downtown so we'd probably get a lot of traffic if we set up a booth there.

There may be an opportunity to do a display or presentation at local libraries. I asked the Roanoke library if they had any plans and they said no but gave me a person to call.

Even a small display with our contact information might help send interested people our way. I have 2 questions:
 - how many of our members have a Saturn V or any similar rockets?
- what library or museum would be the best one if we only have enough stuff for one or two locations?

We could talk about this at the meeting.

Thanks
Bob

Hey all..

Any specific topics you all want presented (or to present on) at our March meeting (March 21st, the Thur before our launch).

I know a lot of people have EggTimer devices to show.. and I'm sure there's been some cool winter projects (we've had a ton of time to complete them!). :)

Any thoughts?
