[NRVR-Members] Soldering & Surface Mount, Reflow (Hot Air) Station for Cheap!

Hey all..
 
So back in 2019, we had a really great surface mount soldering party where we brought out a bunch of gear and tools to do surface mount soldering of our Egg Timer rocketry kits.. and it was a really big hit:

Some of you were asking about a decent/cheap soldering & reflow station.. but didn't have the money for an expensive Weller or Hakko... so here's the same family of hardware that I'm using, and I can highly recommend this hardware. I've been using something very similar since 2015 with zero reliability problems.. and being able to temp control up over 6-700 F, with GREAT heat capacity (be able to solder ground planes and heat syncs):

If things keep getting better in the region (wiht COVID), maybe we'll be able to have another SMT soldering party.
