Meet and greet with Rocket Boy Homer Hickam

Enjoy an evening with alumnus Homer Hickam ’64 on Thursday, Nov. 11, in Blacksburg. Hickam is a former NASA engineer, Vietnam War veteran, and the best-selling author of the memoir “Rocket Boys,” which was adapted into the popular blockbuster movie “October Sky.”

Hickam will share highlights from his newest book, “Don’t Blow Yourself Up,” with a reception and book signing to follow.
