[NRV Rocketry] [NRVR-Launches] Rocket Launch Announcement

Tweeks,

I did some simple sims using wRASP on a 3.1" dia rocket, 73 " long weighing
from 4.5 to 5.6 pounds without motor. I should have put the results in a
spreadsheet but I was doing it at 3:00 in the morning and was just plugging
in different AT 29 and 38 mm motors. What I remember is:

  - H220 in a 5.6 rocket goes 879' with plenty of velocity off the pad
  - I211 in a 5.6 pound rocket went 2170'

So if everything lines up for you to make it to JMV you should have plenty
of options in H and I impulse. I understand the manufacturers
recommendations are important, but there should be some room to adapt to
each launch site.

It is your rocket and cert so the decision is completely yours. I'll send
you a spreadsheet with results for a light and heavy rocket on the motors I
have on hand. If you could get a weight with all the recovery stuff that
will help dial in the estimates. I've found wRASP to usually be 5%-10% high
in it's estimates, but generally in the ballpark and much simpler to get a
quick sim.
