Chuck,

I was not aware of that so thank you for the great news. To be sure I 
understood the new policy, I went to the NAR website and found mention of it 
tucked inside the May 30, 2012 Electronic Rocketeer newsletter on the home 
page. Unfortunately, the NAR hasn't updated their statement of certification 
procedures on the following website page:

At the bottom of the page, under Administrative items, it still says:

"Lapses in the NAR membership over one year will void all certifications. 
Certifications will have to be repeated starting with Level 1."

I do remember my NAR number because I still have my past membership cards. I 
even have the Level 1 Cert. paper you signed dated October 6, 2007.

I'll probably have some further questions that I'll address to you off-list.

Charley was a VAST member a few years ago and I'm actually the one who 
signed off on his previous L1.

Charley, in case you weren't aware, the NAR now reinstates cert levels no 
matter how long its been lapsed. As long as you know your previous 
membership number, if you rejoin, you'll get it back. Something to consider 
anyway.

Of course it's no problem to recert under TRA. Requirements are basically 
the same.
